SERVICE PROJECT: San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

Our San Francisco Rotary Foundation gave the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank $10,000 this fiscal year. One of the requirements is that Rotarians are given an opportunity to do hands-on activities with the organization. Here is that opportunity: Help us build grocery boxes for seniors, sort donations, and other various tasks as needed. Orientation and training are included in each shift. 

GUIDELINES

• All volunteers MUST be at least 8+ years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortable serving. 
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers. 
• Volunteers should not wear jewelry. If worn, all items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets. 
• Dress in casual and clean layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.
