SERVICE PROJECT: San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

Our San Francisco Rotary Foundation gave the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank $10,000 this fiscal year. One of the requirements is that Rotarians are given an opportunity to do hands-on activities with the organization. Here it is!  We are looking to fill seven more slots to help us build grocery boxes for seniors, sort donations, and other various tasks as needed. Orientation and training are included in each shift. 

GUIDELINES

• All volunteers MUST be at least 8+ years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortable serving. 
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers. 
• Volunteers should not wear jewelry. If worn, all items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets. 
• We suggest dressing in casual and clean layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.

• Registration is now limited to 7 volunteers. So, please register early.

• If you have any problems signing up, email Elizabeth Valdez Driskill by 6 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Elizabeth will add you to the volunteer activity.
