SERVICE PROJECT: San Francisco-Marin Food Bank

Registration is now closed. Come and help the team from the Rotary Club of San Francisco build grocery boxes, sort donations, and perform other various tasks for our longtime partner – the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. We'll work as a team to help the Food Bank with their operations and enjoy some fellowship in the process. At our last event, the Rotary Club of San Francisco Team helped to bag 2,175 pounds of food in 145 boxes. With 1 in 5 people in the community experiencing food insecurity, your help is valuable and appreciated. 

Orientation and training are included in each shift. Please arrive at least 10 min before 12PM for check-in. There is usually plenty of street parking around the warehouse but Uber/Lyft/public transportation are options as well.

GUIDELINES

• All volunteers MUST be at least 8+ years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortable serving. 
• Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers. 
• Volunteers should not wear jewelry. If worn, all items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets. 
• We suggest dressing in casual and clean layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.
