Catholic Charities St. Joseph’s Family Center is one of the few emergency family shelters offering housing and support services to San Francisco families prior to transition into long-term, permanent housing. Their children’s program provides entertaining and enriching activities everyday to the children living in the Center. We serve children between birth and age 18 with daily activities catered to each age group: tutoring, field trips, referrals, and much more. Some of our activities include dance, art, gardening, cooking, and music classes. Our children are going through an incredibly difficult time, but our program is here to support them through it.
On Saturday, June 22 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, we will take an all-day field trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium, 886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940. We would love to have Rotarians help chaperone our kids on the bus and throughout the trip. Admission and transportation will be provided. Please meet at 899 Guerrero Street, San Francisco, CA 94110. The bus will leave promptly at 9 AM. It is highly recommended to wear comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes, and sun protection.
Registration closes on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
