Come and spend a day on Mount Sutro with the Rotary Club of San Francisco, the Rotary Club of San Francisco Castro, Sutro Stewards, and Save Nature to learn about bugs and their importance in our environment and ecosystem!
First, Save Nature will guide us through an interactive experience, where we will learn about the diverse world of insects and other arthropods and their key role in the web of life. After a lunch break, Ildiko Polony from Sutro Stewards will take us on an adventure through Mount Sutro, where we will observe and learn about bug habitats up close. We will conclude our day by constructing a bug habitat on Mount Sutro by caring for the native plants that sustain the insects.
Participation is limited to a maximum of 10 people. Advanced registration is required. Contact Yana Sharma if you have questions.
