This event has sold out. Let's learn a little bit about craft chocolate! Dandelion Chocolate Factory is a San Francisco-based craft chocolatier that specializes in single origin chocolate. We'll do a one-hour tour of the Factory where our guide will delve into the history and process of making chocolate, all while providing us with tastings along the way. Afterwards, we'll have some time to catch up and mingle in their café over pastries and beverages.
Please note that the tour does require a good amount of standing and walking, but the venue has accommodations for walkers and wheelchairs as needed. You are also welcome to join just for the café part if desired.
This event is open to all Rotarians and their families and guests. Attendance is capped at 20 people, so register early!
The cost of the tour is $25 per person. The cost includes the factory tour, tastings of cacao pulp, cocoa beans, melted chocolate, and squares of chocolate, a non-alcoholic drink at the café and/or wine, and pastries.
Please reach out to Alisha Marfatia with any questions or concerns or if you just want to join at the café after the tour.
