Join the Rotary Club of San Francisco's Social Committee for a performance of the Tony and Grammy Award winning musical, The Book of Mormon, on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Orpheum Theater. The performance is a 1 PM show. Dinner will be arranged after the performance.
The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy with music, lyrics, and book by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone. The story follows two missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they attempt to preach the faith to the inhabitants of a remote Ugandan village. The earnest young men are challenged by the lack of interest from the locals, who are distracted by more pressing issues such as HIV/AIDS, famine, and oppression by the local warlord.
ADVISORY: This production of The Book of Mormon contains some mature and culturally sensitive themes that may not be suitable for all audiences. No children under the age of 5 are allowed. We will plan to have a discussion after when we gather for dinner.
Tickets are $120 each; we have a block of 15 tickets in the Orchestra section. Please reserve your tickets HERE. The deadline to reserve tickets will be December 15, 2025. Contact President Frank Yoke if you have questions.
