Join the Rotary Club of San Francisco in spreading holiday cheer at our Annual Thanksgiving Celebration at The Arc San Francisco. This special event brings joy to hundreds of families, and we need your help to make it happen!
The Celebration honors our friends at The Arc San Francisco, an organization serving adults with developmental disabilities. For many of them, this will be their only Thanksgiving celebration — and your presence makes the holiday truly special. Volunteers are encouraged to mingle and eat before or after their shift.
Volunteer Opportunities:
๐ Early Morning Kitchen Crew – Assist chefs with food preparation at the Salvation Army Kitchen.
๐ช Carving Team – Help carve the pork (yes, pork — not turkey this year!) or the vegetarian dish.
๐ฝ Serving Shifts – Beginning at 11:00 AM, serve food to guests in rotating shifts.
๐งน Clean-Up Crew – Stay after the meal to help tidy up and close out the day.
One of our Club’s most meaningful service projects, this is a wonderful way to connect with fellow Rotarians, family, and friends while making a direct impact in our community helping those who may or may not have any other Thanksgiving activity.
Please click here to sign up and to choose your shift.
Bring your family and friends! They are welcome to join us in serving, carving, or helping with clean-up — the more hands, the merrier.
We look forward to seeing you at this joyous and delicious event. If you have questions, please contact Dan Joraanstad.
