I wanted to find a way to help my local community. And I wanted to find others interested in the same thing: helping the community as a team in serving others.
— Dan Davies, Rotarian since 2020

Giving Example: If you give $1,000, then $500 supports the San Francisco Rotary Foundation and $500 supports The Rotary Foundation.
This joint campaign harnesses our club’s unbeatable “can-do” spirit to raise funds to help neighbors near and far. Your donation supports:
- Club projects that are near and dear to our members, including the annual Bike Build, World Wide Rotary Day, and our work with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. New members often initiate new projects that provide new ways to serve. Our Club's areas of focus include Youth Leadership, Community Service, International Service, and Vocational Service.
- The incredible work done globally by The Rotary Foundation, including Polio eradication, providing clean water and sanitation, and supporting the environment.
I support Rotary because it’s a responsible way to both give back to my local community and to help others around the world. I’m confident my money is spent judiciously and in a manner that is most appropriate for the work to be done.
— Emily Borland, Rotarian since 2008

Donations earn Paul Harris Fellow credit for the portion donated to The Rotary Foundation, and credit toward a Homer Wood Fellowship for the portion donated to the San Francisco Rotary Foundation. Some of the funds donated to The Rotary Foundation will come back to our club in three years.
A variety of payment options is available including check, credit card, or automatic recurring credit card transactions. We can also accept donations of stock, including direct donations from IRAs.

I joined the Rotary Club of San Francisco because of the passion and energy shown by the members. Helping the community, kids, families – it is in their soul. It is palpable.
