Texas Disaster Relief
Rotary District 5840 is accepting tax-deductible donations to support victims of the recent devastating floods in Texas. Special thanks to Allan Herzog (Financial Services: Advising | Wells Fargo Advisors) who matched the first $2,500 donated from our Club to support this effort. Together, our Club raised $5,000 at the July 15 Club Luncheon. If you would still like to help, please contact President Frank Yoke or donate here.
Family House
Betsy Chafcouloff and Dan Joraanstad (Financial Services: Advising | Retired) shared their experience at Family House earlier today. See full story here.
Disability Pride Month
July is Disability Pride Month. Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Tim Hornbecker (Nonprofit Management | Retired, The Arc CA) talked about the new San Francisco Disability Cultural Center. He invited all to the next DEI Film on September 14, 2025 and called for more Rotarians to join the DEI Committee.
Congratulations to La'Juan Payne (Business Growth and Development | Odabi Inc.) who completed Introductory PRLS on July 19, 2025. La'Juan said that the course was an amazing experience that taught him better communication skills, how to effectively lead a meeting, and how Rotary operates.
