President Bob Hermann, Jr. (Information Technology: Administration | Retired) welcomed everyone either at the Anzu Restaurant in the Hotel Nikko or online.

Visiting Rotarian and Guests
Today's Visiting Rotarian was our own past president Rhonda Poppen who is now a member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento. Our guest was Benjamin Werner. Our speaker was Paula West, and her guest was Adam Shulman.

Thought of the Day
Lisa Stark (Communications & Media) read today's Thought of the Day by Aretha Franklin: "Being the Queen is not all about singing, and being a diva is not all about singing. It has much to do with your service to people. And your social contributions to your community and your civic contributions as well."

This Week's Success Stories
  • President Bob recognized La Carre Ivy (Retired) for her efforts with the Homeless Prenatal Program. See full story here.
  • President Bob celebrated the progress of the Club Visioning Committee. One outcome was the creation of this Mission Statement: "building friendships and having fun while working together.” One goal is to generate an international service project in Mexico.
