Helping Families and Seniors in Two Bay Area Counties
On May 11th, I joined other members and friends of our Rotary Club at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank to assemble dry goods for families and seniors across two Bay Area counties. The Food Bank divided our group into subgroups to work on the assembly line. Our tasks included assembling boxes; restocking dry food cans and grains for the front assembly team; packing food; moving boxes; and organizing pallets. We not only worked hard, but also enjoyed the company of each other.

After two hours, we counted 954 boxes packaged, that will be sent to the homes of families and seniors in San Francisco and Marin counties. We look forward to our continued partnership with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and hope to see you all in the fall when we will do this again!
