District Governor Steve Wright opened today's meeting at 12:15 PM by inducting Bob Hermann, Jr. (Information Technology: Administration | Retired) as President of the Rotary Club of San Francisco. President Bob then introduced the 2024-2025 Board of Directors. DG Steve administered the oath and welcomed the new Board.

Dan introduced Tamour Khan (Website Design | Intel Corporation) and Margaret "Peggy" Mathers (Network Optimization | Retired) as individual members. Next, Dan introduced Rotaplast International to be inducted as a corporate member and to include the following members: Past District 5150 Governor Peter Lagarias (Law: Franchise | Lagarias, Napell & Dillon); Evelyn Abad (Medical Services | Rotaplast International); and to be inducted today - Daniel DeSanto (Nonprofit Administration | Rotaplast International). Rotary Youth Exchange
Vice President of Youth Development Todd St Vrain welcomed Dahlia Myers. Dahlia graduated from Lowell High School and will be a Rotary Youth Exchange student in Germany. President Bob gave Dahlia a bunch of our Club's flag for Dahlia to exchange when she visits Rotary clubs in Germany, and the audience wished Dahlia "Bon Voyage." Todd also recognized Kyra Cronin from the Rotary Club of Redwood City and Marc Friedman from the Rotary Club of Burlingame for their work and support with Rotary Youth Exchange.
