Recap of the October 2024 Welcome to the Club
On October 2, 2024, we held a Welcome Party for the Club in the Community Room at Sports Basement at the Presidio. Despite the warm weather and nearby construction for the Tunnel Tops Park extension, many people showed up to learn more about the Rotary Club of San Francisco.

Vice President of Membership, Margaret Miley, along with her dedicated membership team led this event. Kayla Trunecek secured the free community space for the gathering, Dan Joraanstad helped to frame the discussion topics. Dora Dye, David Dye, Margaret Miley, and Ann Daugherty facilitated the small group sessions. President Bob Hermann dropped in to listen to and engage with the different groups. He learned about the interests and thoughts of prospective members.

Overall, it was a successful evening filled with open dialogue about our projects and an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn more about our Club, who we are, and what we do in our world. Go Membership!
