President Frank Yoke III (Development | Serra Residential Center, Inc.) called our Club's monthly Evening Meeting at MoMo's to order and shared the agenda.
Welcome to Our Guests
Our guests this evening were Laura Deering, Lisa Hunt, Wuy Kim, and Madina Sabitqyzy. Welcome!
Jean Schore, a past member of our Club, passed away on November 11, 2025. She was a member of our Club from October 4, 1994 until June 26, 2017 when she moved to Eugene, Oregon and joined a Rotary Club there.
Jean was very active and built many lasting friendships in our Club. She created Rotary Means Business, which has since grown into a Rotary Fellowship. She served on our Club’s board as Vice President of International Service and traveled to several International Service projects. She hosted many Club dinners, committee meetings, and social activities in her beautiful home on Vallejo Street.
A memorial service for Jean will be held in San Francisco in early 2026. You can read her obituary here.

Ruth Wenzel, a new and active member of the Rotary Club of San Francisco, will share the history and the beauty of one of America's most unique products — glass.
Join us for our Club's next BUSINESS NETWORKING meeting where we will have dinner and enjoy an evening of productive and fun networking. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at DACHA Kitchen & Bar. Greg Podd, Trustee from The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and member of the Rotary Club of Evergreen in Colorado, joins us to report on current international events involving Rotary International; talk about Rotary's effort and progress to end polio; and celebrate our Club's giving to TRF.
During this holiday season, join Catholic Charities in packaging dry goods for its clients. We'll work in teams and enjoy some fellowship in the process. Registration is limited to 10 volunteers; so register early!

Join the Rotary Club of San Francisco's Social Committee for a performance of the Tony and Grammy Award winning musical, The Book of Mormon, on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Orpheum Theater. The performance is a 1 PM show. Dinner will be arranged after the performance. There are only 15 tickets for this performance in the Orchestra section. The deadline to buy your ticket is December 15, 2025.
