EVENING MEETING HIGHLIGHTS September 25, 2025
President Frank Yoke III (Development | Serra Residential Center, Inc.) called our Club's monthly Evening Meeting at MoMo's to order at 6:35 PM and shared the agenda.

August 2025 Rotarian of the Month
Congratulations to Yana Sharma (Software Sales | IBM) who was honored as Rotarian of the Month for August 2025. Yana has been a member of our Club since 2024 and was instrumental in leading high school students at the June 2025 Bug Project with Rotarians from the Rotary Club of San Francisco Castro.

ROTARY LUNCHEON October 7, 2025: District Governor Mitone Griffiths
2025-2026 District 5150 Governor Mitone Griffiths will talk about how this year's Rotary International theme, Unite for Good, impacts our District and our Club. She will also share her theme, Every Piece Matters, and her vision for the Rotary year.
 
 
SOCIAL EVENT October 9, 2025: Asian Art Museum Exhibit Tour 
Join us for a tour of the latest exhibit at the Asian Art Museum led by docent and Club Member Peggy Mathers. Following this one-hour tour, there will be an optional dinner and fellowship at the Asian Art Museum. This event is open to all Rotarians and guests. Attendance is capped at 50 people for the tour; so register early!
 
District 5150 Foundation Event: October 11, 2025
Celebrate the incredible impact of the Rotary Foundation over lunch, enjoy exciting drawings/prizes (including the EREY Drawing), and cap it all off with a thrilling performance by the Blue Angels!
 
ROTARY LUNCHEON October 14, 2025: Louis Briscese  —  Travis Air Force Base and the Bay Area military
Louis Briscese, Chief of Community Engagement with the 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs Office at Travis Air Force Base, California, joins us to share Travis Air Force Base history and its relationship with the Bay Area military makeup. 
 
 
SERVICE OPPORTUNITY October 18, 2025: Walk to End Alzheimer's
Join the members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco, their families, and their friends for the Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Preregistration for the Walk is required. After the Walk, there is an optional lunch.
 
SOCIAL EVENT October 22, 2025: Eat, drink, and mingle at SPARK Social
Come and grab a no-host drink and/or dinner around the Angel Island firepit at SPARK Social in San Francisco. There will be a variety of food trucks. Our Club will provide the s'mores for roasting. Public transportation is encouraged. Rotarians, guests, children, and pets are all welcome.
 
EVENING MEETING: October 23, 2025
Join us for our Club's NEXT EVENING MEETING where we will conduct some Club business, have dinner, and enjoy Rotary fellowship. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at MoMo's. Please register yourself and your guests so that we can plan the space.
 
 
ROTARY LUNCHEON November 4, 2025: Sean Elsbernd and SPUR
Sean Elsbernd, President and CEO of the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR), joins us to talk about the goals of this organization. At SPUR, Sean leads the organization's efforts to advance equity-centered, data-driven public policy across San Francisco, San José, and Oakland.
 
 
BUSINESS NETWORKING: November 5, 2025
Join us for our Club's next BUSINESS NETWORKING meeting where we will have dinner and enjoy an evening of productive and fun networking. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at DACHA Kitchen & Bar. Please register yourself and your guests so that we can plan the space.
 
 
CLUB SOCIAL November 6, 2025: Our Rotary Club's 2025 Friendsgiving
Bring in the holiday season early by joining us for our Rotary Club's 2025 Friendsgiving with lots of food, drink, games, and Rotary fellowship. This event is open to all Rotarians from the Rotary Club of San Francisco, their families, and guests. Registration is limited to 25 people. 
 
SERVICE PROJECT November 8, 2025: Volunteering at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank
Join us to build grocery boxes for seniors, sort donations, and perform other various tasks as needed. The Food Bank continues to need your helping hands. Registration is limited to 9 volunteers; so register early!
