Rotarians Walk to End Alzheimer’s — Together We Made a Difference!
In a heartwarming display of community spirit, our Club members joined fellow Rotarians from District 5150 and thousands of other supporters for the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
 
A highlight of the day was our Club’s vibrant presence. Proudly dressed in our bright neon yellow vests, we stood out as a symbol of unity, energy, and commitment to this important cause. Walkers chose between a one-mile or three-mile route, held this year at Bayfront Park, located across from the Chase Center along the water’s edge.

Applications for Open Board Positions for the 2025-26 Rotary Year Now Being Accepted

The Nominating Committee has been fully formed, and we are now focused on reviewing candidates for the upcoming Board. If you are interested in serving, please complete and submit the Board Interest Form that was emailed to all Club members on October 23, 2025.

The Open Positions are:

  • President-Elect for Term 2026–2027 (to serve as President July 2027 – June 2028).

  • Vice President of Community Service for the Term of 2026-2028.

  • Vice President of Membership for the Term of 2026-2028.

  • Vice President of Development for the Term of 2026-2028.

  • Vice President of International Service for the Term of 2026-2028.

  • Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Term of 2026-2028.

Join us for our Club's next BUSINESS NETWORKING meeting where we will have dinner and enjoy an evening of productive and fun networking. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at DACHA Kitchen & Bar. Please register yourself and your guests so that we can plan the space.
 
 
CLUB SOCIAL November 6, 2025: Our Rotary Club's 2025 Friendsgiving
Bring in the holiday season early by joining us for our Rotary Club's 2025 Friendsgiving with lots of food, drink, games, and Rotary fellowship. This event is open to all Rotarians from the Rotary Club of San Francisco, their families, and guests. Registration is limited to 25 people. 
 
SERVICE PROJECT November 8, 2025: Volunteering at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank
Join us to build grocery boxes for seniors, sort donations, and perform other various tasks as needed. The Food Bank continues to need your helping hands. Registration is limited to 9 volunteers; so register early! 
 
 
ROTARY LUNCHEON November 11, 2025: Bring a Veteran to Lunch and Eric Wick on the Veteran Suicide Epidemic
On this Veterans Day, we invite each member of our Club to Sponsor a Veteran for lunch. You can either bring the Veteran as your guest to the luncheon or you can sponsor a Veteran by paying for their lunch. Our guest speaker for this event is Eric Wick who will talk on the Veteran suicide epidemic.
 
 
SERVICE PROJECT November 14, 2025: 
Join RCAT, SFSU Climate HQ, and Save the Bay for a hands-on shoreline restoration event to protect wildlife habitat, improve climate resilience, and beautify our Bay. Volunteers will help plant native species, remove invasive plants, and learn about the Bay’s vital ecosystem. All ages and abilities welcome — all tools provided, no experience needed! Come make a difference for our environment and community.
 
ROTARY DEI FILM FESTIVAL November 16, 2025: Mankiller
Our November DEI Film Festival movie is Mankiller. This inspiring documentary follows the life of Wilma Mankiller, the first woman to be elected Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation. Following the screening, we will host a group discussion over a pizza and salad dinner to reflect on the film’s themes and to share perspectives on Wilma Mankiller’s legacy as a leader, activist, and changemaker.
 
 
SOCIAL EVENT November 19, 2025: Trivia Night
Get ready for a night of fun and friendly competition! Whether you are a history buff, a movie guru, or a pop culture pro, there’s a challenge for everyone. $50 per person includes the trivia, food, and drinks. There are only 6 tickets for this event; buy your ticket today!
 
EVENING MEETING: November 20, 2025
Join us for our Club's NEXT EVENING MEETING where we will conduct some Club business, have dinner, and enjoy Rotary fellowship. Thanksgiving at The Arc: November 25, 2025
It's time for one of our most popular service projects — Thanksgiving at The Arc San Francisco! In the spirit of giving thanks, Rotarians will gather to provide a Thanksgiving feast for participants at The Arc SF. Many hands are needed to either serve or be on the clean-up team; please sign up to help. This is the only Thanksgiving celebration for many of the people we serve that day. And they are most appreciative.
