Recognizing Healthy Aging Month, our next DEI Film Festival movie is the Oscar-winning On Golden Pond, that explores the challenges and joys of multi-generational relationships within a family. We’re experimenting with a new format for this film, asking that you view it on your own and then participate in a Zoom discussion at 8 PM on Wednesday, September 23. Please consider sponsoring a “watch party” by inviting friends, family, and/or Club members to view the film with you. All are welcome to join the Zoom discussion.

Wong Kim Ark that established birthright citizenship in the United States for nearly all born on U.S. soil. On June 30, 2026, the Supreme Court relied on the Wong Kim Ark decision in Trump v. Barbara, reaffirming constitutional birthright citizenship.
